A Message of Forgiveness

This past Wednesday, my 9-year-old and I quickly walked up the stairs at church. Late as usual, we were rushing between faith formation hour and worship. I could hear the music begin to play, when my son stopped me. He looked at me with those dark brown eyes, and I knew he was fighting back tears. He began to tell me about what had happened with another child in his class.

Still Thirsty – need Deeper Roots!

Years ago I participated in an intensive small group study about faith – faith practices, understanding self, experiencing God in the everyday. After the class was done, I felt energized and committed to the discovery of God at work in the world. A time to rest; A time to write!

It has been three months since I last sat down to write this blog. I sit at Panera, my “go to” spot for a quick writing escape. There is a hot cup of hazelnut coffee within reach.
